Day 1: ALEXANDRIA

Meeting at Istanbul Airport. Departure to Alexandria, Egypt with Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival, we begin our exploration of Alexandria, one of Egypt's most important cities in terms of tourism. During our panoramic city tour, we visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built using remains of the Lighthouse of Alexandria — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We then visit the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque, followed by the tomb of Imam al-Busiri, a renowned Islamic poet famous for his poem Qasida al-Burda in praise of the Prophet Muhammad. We view the Library of Alexandria from the outside. Then, we set off for Cairo, the capital of Egypt, located approximately 2.5 hours away. Dinner, hotel check-in, and overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: CAIRO

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to see the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. These include the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the Pyramid of Khafre, and the smallest, the Pyramid of Menkaure. (Entrance into the interior of the pyramids is not included in the price.) We also view the massive Sphinx statues, which have the body of a lion and the head of a human. The Great Pyramid, built during the 4th Dynasty around 2560 BCE by Pharaoh Khufu, is estimated to have taken over 20 years to complete and stands about 145.75 meters tall.

We then visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the world’s richest museums, home to artifacts spanning over 5,000 years of history. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: CAIRO – FUSTAT

After breakfast at the hotel, we explore Fustat, the Islamic district of Cairo. In Old Cairo, we visit Amr ibn al-As Mosque, the first mosque in Africa; the Tomb of Imam al-Shafi’i; the Sultan Hassan Mosque and Al-Rifa’i Mosque; the Citadel of Saladin; the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha; and the Mosque of Al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun.

We also visit the stunning Mosque of Ibn Tulun, considered the first mosque built by Turks in Egypt. Then, in the Coptic Cairo area, we visit the famous Hanging Church and again Amr ibn al-As Mosque, the largest mosque in the area. We enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and return to our hotel for the night.

Day 4: CAIRO

After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Al-Muizz Street, one of the most important historical streets in Cairo, known for its preserved architecture from different centuries. Along this street, we see beautifully designed Sebil-Kuttabs, grand Mamluk complexes, and mosques and caravanserais (inns) featuring Turkish inscriptions from the Ottoman period.

Following the tour of Al-Muizz Street, we visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Cairo's historic market, and then the Mosque of Imam Hussein, where it is believed that the head of Imam Hussein is buried. We also get a panoramic view of Al-Azhar University. Afterwards, free time will be given under the guidance of our tour leader.

At the end of the day, we transfer to Cairo International Airport for the return flight.

Tickets: Your tickets are Electronic Tickets, and upon providing your name to the airline officer at the counter, your boarding pass will be issued. For international flights, you must be at the airport at least 3 hours before departure, and for domestic flights, please arrive 2 hours prior. 

Your Passport and Other Documents: Participants who haven't received their passports will be handed them by our officers at the Airport. Those who haven't sent their passports to our company must bring their IDs and passports, checking the passport expiration date. 

Cancellation and Refund Conditions:  

The full service fee is due at the time of registration. 

If the customer cancels 30 days in advance, they are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, etc. 100% of the amount paid will be refunded, excluding legal obligations. 

If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the service, 50% of the price paid will be refunded, excluding legal obligations. 

Cancellations within 15 days will not be refunded. Return fees, if any, will be refunded in the same method as the initial payment. 

In the event of unfair termination by the agency, all payments made by the customer will be refunded within 14 days. 

Health: Bring necessary medications and prescriptions, as some medicines may not be readily available in Turkey. Review http://www.seyahatsagligi.gov.tr/ for more information. 

During the Journey: To streamline your journey, please adhere to your group leader's departure time instructions. Safeguard your valuables and money in hotel safes. In case of loss or damage to personal belongings, inform your group leader promptly. All flights are non-smoking, check luggage tags after every flight, and have the hotel's business card handy. 

Solo Female Travelers: You are more than welcome! We have solo female travelers on each tour to ensure you feel like you're traveling with friends. 

Unavailable Dates: If the dates aren't available but you want to experience the tour, fill out the reservation form, and with at least 4 people, we can arrange a similar experience on suitable dates.
