Itinerary:

Day 1 – Basra: Arrival at Basra Airport, visit the tombs of Enes bin Malik (RA) and Hasan Basri (RA), and tour the old city featuring architectural traces from the Ottoman and Abbasid periods.

Day 2 – Kut & Najaf: Visit Ahmed Er-Rifai (1118-1182), transfer to Kut to see the Ottoman Turkish Martyrs Cemetery, then continue to Najaf to visit the tomb of Hz. Ali (RA).

Day 3 – Kufa & Karbala: Visit Wadi-us-Salam Cemetery and Masjid-i Hannane, travel to Kufa to see Hz. Ali’s house, his martyred mihrab, Kufa Mosque, the tomb of Hani b. Urwa, and Muslim b. Aqil (RA), then continue to Karbala to visit the tombs of Hz. Abbas and Hz. Husayn (RA) along with the 72 martyrs inside the shrine.

Day 4 – Medain: Visit the tombs of Huzayfa bin Yaman, Abdullah bin Jabir Al-Ansari, Tahir bin Imam Muhammad Baqir (RA), the Imam Abu Hanifa Complex, the Azamiye Mosque and tomb in Baghdad, Bişr-i Hafi and Abu Bakr Al-Shibli tombs, and the shrines of Maruf Al-Karkhi, Hallaj Mansur, Junayd Al-Baghdadi, Seyr Al-Saqati, Bahlul Dana, Nabi Yusha, and Abd al-Qadir al-Gilani.

Day 5 – Baghdad: Visit the Kazimeyn Mosque to see the tombs of the 7th Imam Musa Kazim and the 9th Imam Muhammad Taqi, then explore old Baghdad to visit Sunni scholar Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Al-Mutanabbi Street, Haydarhane, and Çarşı Sarayı, followed by transfer to Baghdad Airport.

Day 1: BASRA

Meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter. After ticket and passport procedures, depart at 03:25 and arrive at Basra Airport at 06:50. After passport and baggage procedures, board our bus waiting at the airport and transfer to Basra. Visit the tombs of Enes bin Malik (RA) and Hasan Basri (RA), followed by a tour of the old city with architectural traces from the Ottoman and Abbasid periods, then a walk along the Corniche. Dinner and overnight at our Basra hotel.

Day 2: BASRA

After an early breakfast at the hotel, board the bus with our luggage. Visit Ahmad Er-Rifai (1118–1182), recognized as a descendant of Hz. Hussein and described as a scholar, hadith expert, Shafi'i jurist, exegete, and Sufi, and considered one of the four great poles after Abdulkadir Geylani. After this spiritual visit, transfer to the city of Kut. Visit the Ottoman Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery and learn about the historic Battle of Kut, famously praised by Halil Pasha. Then proceed to Najaf, check in to the hotel, and after gathering at the designated time, visit the tomb of Hz. Ali (RA). Dinner and overnight in Najaf.

Day 3: NAJAF

After breakfast, descend to the lobby with our luggage. Visit Wadi-us-Salam (Valley of Peace) Cemetery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, housing 6 million graves and serving as a burial ground for 1,400 years. It includes graves of prophets, pious people, religious scholars, and notable leaders. Afterward, board the bus and visit the Hannane Mosque, then proceed to Kufa. In Kufa, visit Hz. Ali’s house, the mihrab where he was martyred, Kufa Mosque, the tomb of Hani b. Urwa who participated in the battles of Jamal and Siffin, and the tomb of Muslim b. Akil (RA). Then transfer to Karbala to visit the shrines of Hz. Abbas and Hz. Hussein (RA), along with the 72 martyrs in the shrine. Afterward, transfer to Baghdad. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Baghdad.

Day 4: BAGHDAD

After breakfast, depart for Medain. Visit the tombs of notable companions including Salman al-Farisi. Continue to visit Huzayfa bin Yaman, Abdullah bin Jabir al-Ansari, and Tahir bin Imam Muhammad Baqir (RA), then return to Baghdad. Visit the Imam Azam Abu Hanifa Complex, fully restored by TIKA in 2024, along with the nearby tombs of Bishr al-Hafi and Abu Bakr al-Shibli. On the western side of the river, visit the tombs of Maruf al-Karkhi, Hallaj Mansur, Junayd al-Baghdadi, Sayr al-Saqati, Bahlul Dana, Prophet Joshua, and Abdulkadir Gilani. Dinner and overnight in Baghdad.

Day 5: BAGHDAD

Salaat Times: Please don't forget to bring your prayer rug and slippers on every tour. Depending on the region, there may not always be a mosque or prayer facility available at all times. Your guide will direct you to the nearest place to pray. 

Tickets: Your tickets are electronic, and you will receive your boarding pass from the airline attendant at the counter by providing your name. For international flights, you need to be at the airport at least 3 hours before departure time, and for domestic flights, you need to be there 2 hours before. 

Passports and Other Documents: Participants who are unable to obtain their passports will receive them from our staff at the airport. Those who did not send their passports to our company must bring their passports and identification with them and check the passport's expiration date. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy:  

The entire service fee must be paid at the time of registration. 

If the customer cancels the service up to 30 days before the service, taxes, fees, etc. that must be paid, except for costs arising from legal obligations, will be refunded in full (100%). If the customer cancels the service less than 30 days before the service, taxes, fees, etc. that must be paid, 50% of the price paid, excluding costs arising from legal obligations, will be refunded to the customer. If the customer cancels the service less than 15 days before the service, no refund will be made. If a refund fee must be paid, it will be refunded to the customer in the same manner in which they paid. If the agency unjustly terminates the contract, the agency will return all payments made by the customer to the customer within 14 days. 

Health: You may not find every medication or equivalent in Turkey, so make sure you bring your prescription medications with you. Additionally, we recommend that you visit http://www.seyahatsagligi.gov.tr/ for more information. 

During the Journey: We kindly request that you pay attention to your group leader's departure times to minimize time loss during your journey. As with any trip, we recommend that you store valuable items and money in the hotel safe. In the unfortunate event of damage, loss, etc. to personal belongings, please inform your group leader immediately. Smoking is not permitted on any flight. Please check your luggage tags after each flight. Public phone booths are available in cities to make phone calls with a phone card. We recommend that you take the hotel's business card when checking in. 

I’m a solo female traveller – can I join this trip too? We typically get at least a couple of solo female travellers on each trip and you can count on us to make your experience feel as if you’re travelling with friends. 

I can’t make the dates but I really want to experience with you, can you help? Sure! Bring at least 9 other friends/family members and we can recreate the same experience on dates that work for you. Fill in the booking form with your request and leave the rest to us! 

How much spending money should I bring? You’ll only really need money for souvenirs, meals outside of those included above and any tips you many wish to give your guides and driver. Everything else – transport, tickets for experiences and historical suites, tours, main meals are covered by us.

  • For all passport types, our agency has no compensation obligation if the passport holder cannot participate in the tour due to a passport that is valid for less than 6 months from the date the tour ends. 
  • If the passport officer does not allow the passenger to enter the country despite having a visa, the responsibility lies with the passenger. 
  • Our company's cancellation and refund policies apply in case of possible issues with visas. 
  • We only provide document consultancy services for visas obtained through our company. If the visa is not issued, there will be no refund for the visa fee. Our cancellation and refund policies apply to refunds for the tour fee. 
  • Flight confirmations must be made by the passenger 48 hours before the tour departure time. 
  • For all international departures, guests must be present at the relevant port 3 hours before the tour departure time. 
  • Any connecting domestic flights arranged by our company are included in the next international flight. 
  • We strongly recommend that our guests do not book domestic flights themselves. 
  • If the guest is unable to attend the tour due to being late, the responsibility lies with the passenger. Our agency has no compensation obligation.
