Premium Vietnam & Cambodia Tour

We meet our guide and tour leader at Istanbul Airport's international terminal. After passport and baggage procedures we depart for Vietnam on a direct Turkish Airlines flight and spend the night on board.

In the morning we arrive in Vietnam's largest city, officially Ho Chi Minh City but still known locally as Saigon. Our city tour takes in the Notre Dame Cathedral, built by the French in the 19th century, the historic Central Post Office, designed in a style inspired by Gustave Eiffel, the Independence Palace, the Opera House, and Ben Thanh Market, where we get a close look at everyday local life. After a halal welcome dinner in the evening, we check into our hotel in Saigon.

After breakfast we visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network used during the Vietnam War that functioned as a hidden city where people lived, worked, and resisted. We then head to the Mekong Delta for a boat trip among the palm trees, taking in narrow canals, traditional villages, and tropical orchards. In the evening we have a halal dinner as part of a special event on the Saigon River, watching the city lights reflected on the water.

After breakfast we fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia's cultural capital. Here we visit Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Khmer Empire in the 12th century and considered one of the largest religious monuments in the world. Walking through its corridors, lined with towering structures, extensive stone reliefs and fine carving, we get a sense of the Khmer Empire's history, with the sunset view standing out as one of the trip's most memorable moments. After a halal dinner we head to our hotel in Siem Reap.

Our first stop today is Angkor Thom, the Khmer Empire's last great capital, where we visit the Bayon Temple with its hundreds of giant stone faces, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. We then explore Ta Prohm Temple, famous as a filming location for Tomb Raider, where massive tree roots have grown over its stone walls. In the afternoon we head to Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, for a boat trip past floating villages with houses, schools, mosques, and markets built entirely on the water. After a halal dinner we return to our hotel in Siem Reap.

After breakfast we fly to Hanoi, Vietnam's cultural and historical capital with roughly a thousand years of history. Our city tour visits the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, founded in 1070 and considered Vietnam's first university. We then take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, the legendary heart of Hanoi, and explore the historic Old Quarter. In the evening we watch the famous Water Puppet Show, an art form nearly a thousand years old, followed by a halal dinner before heading to our hotel in Hanoi.

Today we head to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's new seven natural wonders, known for its thousands of limestone islets rising from emerald waters. On arrival we board the Orchid Trendy Cruise, spending the day visiting Lan Ha Bay and the Ba Trai Dao Islands, with stops for kayaking, swimming, and photos. In the evening we watch an unforgettable sunset from the deck, have a halal dinner on board, and spend the night on our premium cruise boat.

We wake up surrounded by Halong Bay's striking scenery. After breakfast we visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island, part of Cat Ba National Park, known for its stalactites and stalagmites. We then return to our cruise boat for one last look at the bay before heading back to Hanoi. On arrival we have free time, when guests can wander the Old Quarter, try Vietnamese coffee, or shop at local markets. In the evening we enjoy the tour's halal farewell dinner before returning to our hotel in Hanoi.

After breakfast we continue exploring Hanoi, a capital city with roughly a thousand years of history. We visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, considered Vietnam's first university. In the afternoon we visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which showcases the culture of the country's 54 ethnic groups, then experience Vietnamese coffee at the famous Train Street, known for its narrow tracks and colorful cafes. We take one last walk around Hoan Kiem Lake before saying goodbye to Hanoi. After transferring to the airport we depart on direct Turkish Airlines flight TK165 at 22:55, landing in Istanbul at 05:35 local time and bringing our Vietnam-Cambodia tour to a close.
