Benelux & Paris Tour, 6 Nights 7 Days (Luxembourg Arrival - Dusseldorf Return)

The group meets at Istanbul Airport's international terminal and, after ticket, passport and baggage procedures, flies with Turkish Airlines to Paris. On arrival, travelers go straight to the Eiffel Tower, the 330-metre symbol of the city built for the 1889 World's Fair, taking the lift up to the second floor for the view. Next comes a boat trip on the Seine, passing under the city's bridges to see its finest buildings up close, followed by a guided visit to Notre Dame Cathedral, which has stood for more than 850 years and hosted the coronations of several French kings. The group then visits Montmartre, known for its bohemian atmosphere, with a view of the nearby Sacré-Cœur Basilica; if timing allows, there is a stop at the Paris Mosque for midday or afternoon prayer. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Next comes a walk on Marken Island, home today to around 1,200 people and known for its 18th-century dark green and black wooden fishermen's houses. The group then continues to Giethoorn, known as the Venice of the Netherlands for its postcard-like canals, where a boat trip makes for an especially enjoyable experience. After the excursion the group returns to Amsterdam for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, the group travels to Cologne, where a city tour begins on arrival, covering the striking Triangle building, the historic Hohenzollern Bridge, the UNESCO-listed Cologne Cathedral (632 years in the making), the Rhine River, the Kolumba Museum, the Old Town Hall, and the Ditib Central Mosque. At the end of the tour the group regroups at a time set by the guide and heads to the airport; the tour ends with the return flight to Istanbul.
