Spain & Andalusia Tour (Barcelona Arrival - Madrid Return)

The group meets at Istanbul Airport's international terminal and flies to Barcelona on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. A city tour starts right after arrival, taking in the Christopher Columbus Monument, the Sagrada Familia church, La Rambla, Montjuic Hill, the Plaça d'Espanya and Plaça de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia, Gran Via, the former Andalusian bullring, the Olympic Port, and Park Güell, an open-air showcase of architect Antoni Gaudí's colorful mosaics and organic shapes. After the tour, the group transfers to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, the group travels to Valencia on the Mediterranean coast — Spain's third-largest city after Madrid and Barcelona — to see the El Micalet Cathedral, the bullfighting arena, Dela Virgen, the Torres de Serranos with its bell tower, the Mercado Central, the historic trading hall La Lonja, and the National Museum. The tour also includes the modern City of Arts and Sciences, home to Europe's largest aquarium and the giant dome called the Hemisferic. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, the group heads to Granada, where the day begins at the Alhambra Palace, known for its magnificent gardens and intricate decoration, followed by a view of the city from San Nicolás Hill on the way out. The group then walks the narrow streets of the old Arab quarter, Albaicín, sees the Morabitos Mosque, and reaches Gran Via street and Plaza Isabel la Católica. After a short coffee break, Granada Cathedral is seen from the outside and there is free time in the markets, where those interested can try the local tapas at a café on one of the city's squares. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, the group travels to Seville for a city tour covering Plaza de España, Maria Luisa Park, and a panoramic view of Seville Cathedral — once a mosque, later converted into a church and, after centuries of additions, one of Spain's largest cathedrals — along with the Giralda Tower, originally the mosque's minaret and later turned into a bell tower. After the tour, there is free time for shopping at the Sevilla Fashion Outlet. The group regroups at a time set by the guide, then transfers to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, the group travels to Cordoba, once the capital of Al-Andalus; after seeing the Roman Bridge and the Guadalquivir River, the group enters the old town through the Roman Gate. The tour includes the Great Mosque of Cordoba, an Umayyad-era structure with 850 columns partly converted into a cathedral, the old Jewish quarter, and the Cordoba Synagogue, built in Andalusian style, along with statues of famous Andalusian commanders and surviving sections of the city walls in the old streets. After passing the old libraries by the Guadalquivir, the group continues to Toledo, a UNESCO-protected medieval town, to see Toledo Cathedral, built over the remains of an old mosque, along with the historic streets and works by the painter El Greco associated with the city. At the end of the tour the group heads to Madrid, arriving in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, the Madrid city tour begins, covering Gran Via street, Plaza de España, the Don Quixote monument, the Egyptian-style Pyramids temple, the Royal Palace (from the outside), the ruins of Madrid's Great Mosque, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol (with free time here), followed by Paseo de la Castellana, the Cibeles Fountain, and the Real Madrid stadium. After the tour, the group heads to the airport at a time set by the guide; once baggage and ticket procedures are complete, the group flies back to Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight, bringing the tour to an end.
