Classic Italy Tour, 5 Nights 6 Days (Naples Arrival - Milan Return)

The group meets at Istanbul Airport's international terminal and, after ticket, passport and baggage procedures, flies with Turkish Airlines to Naples. After leaving the airport, the first stop is Pompeii, the extraordinary ancient city frozen in time; this is followed by a panoramic tour of Naples covering the 16th-century Royal Palace, the San Carlo Theatre, the Galleria Umberto I, the Church of San Francesco di Paola (inspired by the Pantheon in Rome), Piazza del Plebiscito, the Angevin Fortress, and the Port of Naples. After the tour, the group heads to Rome, where they check into the hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight.

After breakfast, a panoramic tour of Rome begins with an outside view of St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, the seat of the Catholic Church and an independent state. The group then explores the city the ancient Romans called the Caput Mundi, or Capital of the World, viewing the Colosseum, opened in 80 AD, from the outside, along with the Circus Maximus, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. After free time, the group photographs the Pantheon from outside and sees Piazza Navona; if timing allows, there is a stop at Rome's central mosque for midday or afternoon prayer. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, the group travels through the scenic Tuscan countryside to Siena, home to Italy's most famous horse-race festival and the region's largest, most impressive square, where there is free time for shopping and photos. The group then continues to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance, exploring landmarks such as the Duomo Cathedral, its bell tower, the Uffizi Palace, the Baptistery, and Piazza della Signoria, discovering a city where past and present meet. The group then continues to Venice, where after leaving the vehicle they board a vaporetto for a roughly 20-25 minute boat ride, during which the guide shares details about Venice's islands and buildings.
