Itinerary
Meet at Ankara Esenboğa Airport and fly to Venice with SunExpress (XQ 5852, 08:30–10:35). After a 20–25 minute vaporetto ride we see the Doge's Palace, the Clock Tower, the Campanile, St Mark's Square and Basilica; an optional gondola ride is available (extra, €30 per person). After free time we return to the mainland by vaporetto. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we visit the medieval town of Sirmione on Lake Garda and its Scaliger Castle, then shop at Franciacorta Designer Village. A panoramic Milan tour covers Sforza Castle, Via Dante, the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Leonardo da Vinci monument and La Scala. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, a panoramic Florence tour: the Duomo, the Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi. We continue to Pisa: the Leaning Tower (exterior), the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Square of Miracles. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we visit San Gimignano, the 'Manhattan of the Middle Ages', then cross the Tuscan valley to Siena with free time in its famous square. We drive on to Rome and check in. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, a panoramic Rome tour: the Vatican, St Peter's Basilica and Square (exterior), the Colosseum (exterior), Circus Maximus, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon (exterior) and Piazza Navona. Depending on timing, the Great Mosque of Rome is visited for the noon/afternoon prayers. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we visit the ancient city of Pompeii, followed by a panoramic Naples tour: the Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Galleria Umberto I, San Francesco di Paola, Piazza del Plebiscito, Castel Nuovo and the harbour. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we visit Sorrento, famous for its lemon groves, colourful Positano and the Amalfi Coast, followed by a Salerno tour. Transfer to the airport at a time set by the guide and fly from Naples to Ankara with SunExpress (XQ 5853, 20:05–23:30). End of the tour.
