Ladies-Only Morocco Tour with Merve Gülcemal (Casablanca Round-trip)

We meet at Istanbul Airport and depart at 12:05 on flight TK617, landing in Casablanca at 13:55 local time. After completing airport formalities, our city tour begins with the impressive Hassan II Mosque on the Atlantic coast. We then explore Anfa, the city's modern, upscale district, and take a short break along the Corniche, enjoying the ocean views. After the city tour, dinner and accommodation are provided at our hotel.

After breakfast we travel roughly 295 km to Fes. Our tour of the Fes Medina, the heart of Morocco's historic and cultural heritage, takes in the Attarine Medersa, known for its tilework and woodcarving, Al Qarawiyyin University, one of the world's oldest educational institutions, and Nejjarine Square, famous for traditional woodworking. We then observe traditional crafts at the Coppersmiths' Square and have free time to shop at the Craftsmen's Bazaar. One of the tour's most memorable stops is an overhead view of the historic Chouara Tannery, where leather is still processed using traditional methods. After exploring the Medina's narrow streets and colorful markets, we have dinner and stay overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast we travel roughly 215 km to Chefchaouen, known as the "Blue City" for its blue-washed streets. In this town set at the foot of the Rif Mountains we see Uta el-Hammam Square, its historic heart, and visit the 15th-century Chefchaouen Grand Mosque. Walking through the narrow lanes of the Medina, we take in the blue-and-white houses, stepped passageways, and small courtyards, and also see Mohammed V Square, which carries traces of French architecture. After exploring Chefchaouen's striking streets we drive the same distance back to Fes for dinner and an overnight stay at our hotel.

After breakfast we travel 65 km to Meknes to begin our city tour, starting with the monumental Bab Mansour Gate and, if open, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. We then continue to Rabat, once the capital of the Moroccan Empire, to see the Royal Palace Gardens (if open), the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, and the city walls. After our Rabat tour we make the roughly 325 km journey to Marrakech, where we have dinner and stay overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast our Marrakech tour begins at the peaceful, olive-tree-lined Menara Gardens, followed by the elegantly decorated Bahia Palace. Walking through the Marrakech Medina, we visit, where open, the tombs of Qadi Iyad, Sulayman al-Jazuli, and Abdulaziz al-Dabbagh, and stop at a herbalist shop known as the "Berber Pharmacy" to learn about argan oil and other local products, with time to shop. After seeing the roughly 800-year-old Koutoubia Mosque and Minaret, we move on to the UNESCO-listed Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, with free time in the maze-like souks nearby. In the evening we attend the Chez Ali Fantasia Show, enjoying dinner alongside traditional folklore performances and horseback acrobatics, before returning to our hotel.

After breakfast we have free time in Marrakech, with the option to explore the city on our own or go shopping. We then visit the Majorelle Garden, famous for its blue tones and exotic plants, for a peaceful stroll. After the garden visit we head to Marrakech Airport to complete ticketing and baggage procedures, departing for Istanbul at 15:15 on Turkish Airlines flight TK620. We land at Istanbul Airport at 23:20 local time, bringing our Morocco tour to a close.
