Uzbekistan Tour with Turkish Airlines (Tashkent Arrival - Urgench Return)

The journey begins as the group meets at Istanbul Airport's international terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counters; after check-in and passport procedures, flight TK366 departs at 7:15 AM for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. After a roughly four-and-a-half-hour flight, the group lands in Tashkent at 1:55 PM and begins a city tour, taking in the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, the Barak Khan Madrasah, now home to craft workshops, and the Hazrat Imam Mosque in a city known for its wide streets. After Amir Timur Square and Independence Square, the group visits Chorsu Bazaar, a marketplace with roughly 2,000 years of history. After free time, the group tastes Uzbek plov at dinner and settles into the hotel in Tashkent for the night.

After breakfast, the group travels to Tashkent Railway Station and departs for Samarkand; after a roughly two-hour journey, the group arrives and the tour begins with the Gur-i Amir, the mausoleum of Amir Timur. This is followed by Registan Square with its Ulugh Beg, Tilya-Kori and Sher-Dor madrasahs. After visiting the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, the group moves to the Shah-i-Zinda complex of mausoleums, visiting the tomb of Qusam ibn Abbas, a cousin of the Prophet Muhammad. Finally, the group sees the Ulugh Beg Observatory and visits the mausoleums of Imam Maturidi and Khoja Ubaydullah Ahrar before having dinner. The night is spent in Samarkand.

After breakfast, before departing, the group visits the tomb of Imam Bukhari, one of Islam's leading scholars of hadith. The group then travels by bus to Bukhara, stopping along the way to visit the tombs of Sufi masters known as the Seven Saints — Abdulkhaliq Ghijduvani, Arif Riwgari, and Mahmud Anjir Faghnavi — before reaching the city. In Bukhara, a key stop on the Silk Road, the tour includes the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, the Mausoleum and Spring of the Prophet Job, Bolo Hauz Mosque, the Ark fortress, the Poi Kalyan Complex (the Kalyan Minaret, Mir-i Arab Madrasah, and Juma Mosque), the Ulugh Beg Madrasah, the Abdulaziz Khan Madrasah, the Magoki-Attari Mosque, the Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah, and the Chor Minor. After free time to shop in the Silk Road bazaars, the group spends the night at the hotel in Bukhara.

After breakfast, the group visits one of Bukhara's most special stops: the tombs of Sayyid Amir Kulal and Bahauddin Naqshband, along with those of their mothers. The group then crosses the Kyzylkum Desert and follows the Amu Darya River toward Khiva, the ancient capital of Khorezm. The group arrives in Khiva in the late afternoon, checks into the hotel, and has dinner. The night is spent in Khiva.

This day is devoted entirely to exploring Khiva. After breakfast, the group enters the historic town, located very close to the Turkmenistan border, through the Ata Darvaza gate. The tour includes the Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, the Kalta Minor Minaret, the Kunya-Ark fortress, the Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasah and the Museum of Khiva Khans, the Muhammad Amin Inaq Madrasah and its Science Museum, the Tosh Hovli Palace of Allakuli Khan with its harem quarters, the Juma Mosque and minaret, and the Islom Khoja Madrasah and minaret. After the Pahlavan Darvaza gate and the Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, there is time for shopping and free time. The night is spent in Khiva.

After an early breakfast, the group is transferred to Urgench Airport, about 40 km away. After baggage and passport procedures, Turkish Airlines flight TK263 departs for Istanbul at 8:30 AM. The group lands at Istanbul Airport at 11:00 AM, bringing the enjoyable tour to an end.
