Day 1: BAKU

Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After completing ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we depart for Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on a scheduled flight. Upon arrival, we head to Targovi Street, also known as Merchants Street, which is Baku’s liveliest and most vibrant shopping avenue, similar to Istanbul’s Taksim Street. We explore this bustling street before reaching the equally lively Baku Boulevard, where we enjoy a scenic walk along the coastline promenade, home to various museums, restaurants, shops, and entertainment spots.

Later in the evening, we head to our restaurant for a cultural night, where we experience traditional Azerbaijani music and dance performances during dinner. After this immersive cultural experience, we return to our hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: BAKU

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our Absheron Peninsula Tour. Our first stop is the Ateshgah Fire Temple, one of the three main Zoroastrian temples in the world. This fascinating structure, which has been burning for centuries due to the natural underground gas reserves, was considered a sacred pilgrimage site by followers of Zoroastrianism.

After visiting Ateshgah, we proceed to Yanardag (Burning Mountain), a remarkable natural phenomenon that Marco Polo referred to as the "Land of Fire." This site, where flames have been burning for centuries due to natural gas leaks, covers an area of 65 hectares.

Following this extraordinary experience, we return to Baku city center and continue our tour. Our next destination is Icheri Sheher (Old City), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. Here, we visit the 15th-century Shirvanshah Palace, the 2,500-year-old Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque, and the Bukhara-Multani Caravanserais. Guests will have free time to explore these historical landmarks, enjoy coffee in the charming cafés of the Old City, or take a deeper look into the sites' interiors.

At the designated time, we gather and proceed to Martyrs' Park (Şehitler Parkı). Along the way, we see the Azerbaijan National Assembly and the iconic Flame Towers, which symbolize modern Baku. At Martyrs' Park, we honor Azerbaijan's fallen heroes who lost their lives in wars and massacres.

We then take a scenic funicular ride, a 4-minute journey with breathtaking views of Baku, descending towards the seaside. Upon arrival, we take another leisurely walk along the coastal promenade, where guests can enjoy a tea or coffee break. Those interested may also explore the Carpet Museum, visit the uniquely designed Deniz Mall Shopping Center, or take a ride on the Baku Ferris Wheel (Baku Eye) for a panoramic view of the city.

At the scheduled meeting time, we head to a one-of-a-kind restaurant for a historical dining experience. This venue, designed as both a museum and a restaurant, will take us on a journey through Azerbaijan’s rich history and traditions. After dinner, we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: BAKU

After breakfast, we depart for Gobustan, located 70 km south of Baku. Known as Azerbaijan’s richest archaeological region, Gobustan is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered an open-air museum. Situated along the ancient Shirvan Road near the Caspian Sea, this site features prehistoric petroglyphs, carvings, and rock engravings that provide invaluable insights into the lifestyle, hunting practices, animals, and vegetation of early human civilizations from the Middle Ages and beyond.

After exploring Gobustan, we proceed to the Heydar Aliyev Center, one of Baku’s most striking architectural landmarks. Here, we gain insight into the history and founding of Azerbaijan, as well as the life and contributions of the Aliyev family.

The museum also houses a vast collection of historical and cultural artifacts, including:

Classic automobiles

Traditional Azerbaijani musical instruments

Antique toys

Regional clothing

Scale models of Azerbaijan’s most iconic landmarks

After completing our tour, and depending on weather conditions and local authorities' permissions, we take a boat tour on the Caspian Sea to bid a spectacular farewell to Baku from the water.

Following our final tour experience, we transfer to Baku Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour concludes.
